- Atomic City Sports will play host to the fourth annual USSSA Peach Belt Border Bash NIT youth baseball and softball tournament Saturday-Sunday at Citizens Park in Aiken. - Georgia Tech men's basketball coach Paul Hewitt will be the keynote speaker for the Augusta Sports Council's College Basketball Preseason Tip-off luncheon at the Augusta Marriott Hotel and Suites on Oct. 2 . Numerous D-I and D-II coaches also will be in attendance. The luncheon begins at 11:45 a.m. Tickets are $25 for Augusta Sports Council members and $35 for nonmembers. - Carolina Dragway will play host to the IHRA Summit Racing Pro-Am Tour on Sept. 19-21 . Gates open at noon on Sept. 19 and at 8 a.m. on Sept. 20-21 . - The USC Aiken women's basketball team will hold at "Fun-Raising" Golf Tournament on Monday at Woodside Plantation. The tournament features three different formats. - The 18th annual Augusta Disc Golf Classic will be held Saturday and Sunday at the PDGA Disc Golf Center at Wildwood Park in Columbia County.
