- Atomic City Sports will play host to the fourth annual USSSA Peach Belt Border Bash NIT youth baseball and softball tournament Saturday-Sunday at Citizens Park in Aiken. - Georgia Tech men's basketball coach Paul Hewitt will be the keynote speaker for the Augusta Sports Council's College Basketball Preseason Tip-off luncheon at the Augusta Marriott Hotel and Suites on Oct. 2 . - The USC Aiken women's basketball team will hold at "Fun-Raising" Golf Tournament on Monday at Woodside Plantation. The tournament features three different formats.
