Most people in Augusta hear the term Amen Corner and they think of Holes 11 through 13 at Augusta National Golf Club. But churchfolk across the South take Amen Corner to mean the corner of the front pew in church where the deacon sits and says "Amen, preacher," whenever the pastor makes a particular point. The Your Faith page Amen Corner is a weekly shout-out of faith, from the quirky to the sublime. We'll offer up mini profiles of pastors, faith testimonies, choir performances, wisdom gleaned from church signs and a joke or two. If you have suggestions for profiles or other column fodder, contact Faith and Values Reporter Kelly Jasper at kelly.jasper@ augustachronicle.com.
