Bridge

l The CSRA Bridge Club will play host to a junior bridge camp on Monday . The camps will run from 8:30-10:30 a.m. The camp is for students between the ages of 8 and 14. The camps will cover basic bridge, including bidding, playing and defense. Cost is $40. Follow up bridge games will be held on Saturdays at 9 a.m. at the CSRA Bridge Club, 808 Shartom Dr., Augusta. Darts

- Registration for the Savannah River Dart Association fall season runs through Friday . The season begins on Monday .

Football

- The Aiken/Edgefield District of the South Carolina Football Officials Association is looking for individuals interested in becoming officials for the 2008 season and beyond. You must posses a high school diploma, a high school certificate or its equivalent to join. For more information, call Ron Paul at (803) 221-9218 or Steve Hook at (860) 303-3718.

- The GT Club of Augusta is sponsoring a bus trip to the Georgia Tech vs. Jacksonville State game in Atlanta on Aug. 28 . The bus will be parked in the Hooters' parking lot and will depart at 4 p.m. for the game, which begins at 7:30. The bus will drop all passengers off within one block of the stadium and will pick up all passengers. The cost of the bus trip is $35, but does not include tickets to the game. - The Eagle Sports Guardians team is looking for private and home schoolers ages 13-18 to play for their team. Practices are Monday through Friday, except Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m. Cost is $250 per player for pads and equipment. For more information call (706) 739-0113 or (803) 275-0643.

Golf

- Columbia Middle School is holding a tournament on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Bartram Trail Golf Club. Cost is $300 per four-man team. Hole sponsorship is $100. For more information or to register, call Steve McNair (706) 541-0744 ext. 5854, or e-mail james.mcnair@ccboe.net.

- The 41st annual Mickie Gallagher Junior Amateur will be held July 31 at Forest Hills Golf Club. The tournament will be 18-hole stroke play for boys and girls ages 8-17 and 9-hole stroke play for ages 10 and under. An entry free of $10 must accompany registration. Players must carry their own bag, no caddies. Registration deadline is Monday . For more information, call (706) 738-4367.

- The Augusta City Junior Championship will be held Aug. 9-10 at Forest Hills Golf Club. The 36-hole medal play tournament, which will have both boys and girls divisions, is limited to the first 90 entries ages 10-18. Ages 10-11 will play nine holes each day and 12-18 will play 18 holes each day. Entry fee is $60. For registration and information, call the Forest Hills pro shop at (706) 733-0001.

- Men Making A Difference will hold a tournament at Gordon Lakes Golf Course on Aug. 23 . Check in is from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. - The John de la Howe School Alumni Association Open will be held at Savannah Lakes Village's Monticello Championship Golf Course in McCormick, S.C., on Aug. 23. The cost is $70 per player, and the field is limited to 30 four-man teams. There will be a 1 p.m. shotgun start, and play will be in the captain's choice, team handicap format. Rugby

- The Augusta Rugby Football Club invites people interested in rugby to practices each Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Julian Smith Casino ballpark. New players are welcome.
