Fourth-inning rally fells GreenJackets
In Salisbury, Md., an early lead for the GreenJackets dissolved in the fourth inning Friday, as the Delmarva Shorebirds notched a 5-2 victory over Augusta.
Thomas Neal was the only GreenJackets player with more than one hit, going 2-for-4.
Supported by a four-run fourth, Delmarva starter Zachary Britton got the win, allowing six hits and one earned run in six innings.

Augusta's McRae tabbed MVP again
Aubrey Alexander McRae was named MVP for the second consecutive year at the Youth Basketball of America National Championships for the 11-under Division I Polk County Shootout.
The 11-year-old's Augusta Rising Stars defeated teams from Atlanta, South Carolina, North Carolina and Maryland to become tournament champions.

Wolfpack star will play at Spartanburg
Greenbrier graduate Blaise Ramsbotham has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball next season at Spartanburg Methodist College.
Ramsbotham, a 5-foot-8 setter from Evans, was the 2007 Columbia County High School Player of the Year.
- Augusta State head baseball coach Skip Fite has announced the addition of three players who will join the Jaguars next season.
Adam King , a 5-foot-11, 195-pound catcher/third baseman, hit .424 with five homers, seven doubles and 29 RBI for Greenbrier last season.
Ryan Voitik , a 5-10, 186-pound third baseman from Shorewood, Ill., batted .365 with 17 doubles, six triples and 63 RBI last season for Joliet Junior College.
Josh Joiner , a 6-1, 190-pound first baseman/designated hitter from Kingsland, Ga., hit .301 with 28 RBI, eight doubles and four homers for Truett-McConnell Junior College last season.

Georgia alum Hayes signs with the Nets
The New Jersey Nets have reached agreements with free agent forwards Jarvis Hayes and Eduardo Najera . Terms were not released.
The 6-foot-8 Hayes played in 82 games for Detroit last season and averaged 6.7 points and 2.2 rebounds. Hayes was the 10th overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft out of Georgia.
The 6-8 Najera averaged 5.9 points and 4.3 rebounds in 78 games last season for Denver.
- Free agent guard Roger Mason has signed with the San Antonio Spurs.
The team didn't disclose terms of the deal. But Mason's agent, Mark Bartelstein , told The Associated Press on Thursday that he was to sign a two-year deal for "just a little less than" $8 million.
- The Dallas Mavericks have re-signed former Texas A&M standout Antoine Wright . Terms were not released.

Feaster out as GM for the Lightning
Jay Feaster resigned Friday as general manager of the Tampa Bay Lightning, four years after the team he helped assemble won the franchise's only Stanley Cup championship.
The Lightning won two Southeastern Division titles and made the playoffs four times in Feaster's five full seasons as GM.
TENNIS
Gasquet makes 1st semifinal this year
In Stuttgart, Germany, second-seeded Richard Gasquet defeated Albert Montanes 6-3, 7-6 (5) at the Mercedes Cup to reach his first semifinal of the year.
Gasquet will play sixth-seeded Agustin Calleri , who dispatched Michael Berrer 6-4, 6-2.
- In Bastad, Sweden, top-seeded David Ferrer beat Robin Soderling 7-5, 6-7 (3), 6-1 to reach the Swedish Open semifinals.
Ferrer will play either Tommy Robredo or Jarkko Nieminen .
Fernando Verdasco and Tomas Berdych will meet in the other semifinal.
