WHAT: Bertamo Baroque Trio

DETAILS: Bertamo Baroque Trio is Letitia Berlin, recorder; David Morris, viola de gamba and Yuko Tanaka, harpsichord, with Leah Peroutka and Leslie Connor on violins, John Pruett on viola and Barbara Blaker Krumdieck on cello. The concert is titled The Four Nations: Music of England, France, Germany and Italy. The musicians will perform selections by Telemann, Vivaldi, Handel, Marais, Charpentier and Purcell. The performance is part of the St. John’s Concerts with a Cause series. Nursery will be available. The concert is also wheelchair accessible.
COST: Free, but an offering will be taken for New Bethlehem Community Center
ABOUT: Letitia Berlin is a member of the Farallon Recorder Quartet and the Sitka Trio. She teaches early music workshops around the country, and has performed with the San Francisco Symphony, the Carmel Bach Festival and the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra.
David Morris is a member of The King’s Noyse, the Galax Quartet, Quicksilver and the New York State Baroque Ensemble. He has performed with Tafelmusik, The Boston Symphony Orchestra, The Boston Early Music Festival Orchestra, American Bach Soloists, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Musica Pacifica and the Mark Morris Dance Company.
Yuko Tanaka performs with numerous ensembles including Musica Pacifica, Music of the Spheres, Archetti, Ensemble Montichiari, Philharmonia Baroque Chamber Players, Moscow Chamber Orchestra and American Bach Soloists. She conducts master classes and appears as a guest lecturer at various universities.
