Shoppers stroll the many aisles of clothing at Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church's Children's Consignment Sale. Sales are held twice each year.

WHAT: The Children’s Consignment Sale of Trinity-on-the-Hill United Methodist Church returns March 9 and 10 with 250 consignors.


WHEN: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 9 and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 10

WHERE: Trinity-on-the-Hill United Methodist Church, 1330 Monte Sano Ave.

ABOUT THE SALE: Forty percent of the proceeds benefit 35 of the church’s mission partners (local, national and international). Groups include Golden Harvest Food Bank, Interfaith Hospitality Network, the United Methodist Children’s Home, and missions in Honduras, west Africa and Asia.

SHOPPING TIPS: Crowds tend to line up early, before the doors open. On Saturday, all items are half price.

AFTER THE SALE: Unsold items are often donated for use in missions projects, according to the Rev. Scott Parrish, the minister of evangelism, outreach and missions at the church.
