Gospel event


A variety of acts will perform at the first Gospel Extravaganza presented by The Salvation Army of Augusta. The free event is 1 to 6 p.m. today at the Kroc Center, 1833 Broad St.

The lineup includes Eryn Eubanks and the Family Fold, Chosen Gener­ation, Brothers in Christ, The Augusta Kroc Center Songsters, Jena Harris, The Salvation Army Youth Praise Band, The Good Samaritan Male Chorus, the Georgia Central District Choir, Joy Products, The Augusta Kroc Center Band and The New Passion Worship Team.

After-school aid

Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 710 E. Cedar St., offers a free after-school enrichment program for students from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursdays. Call (706) 722-2779 for more information.

Financial Peace U.

Musical auditions

Enopion, a Christian theater company in Augusta, will hold auditions for the original musical The Prince Is Giving a Ball by appointment on Thursdays from Feb. 16 to March 15.

Auditions will be held at the Kroc Center, 1833 Broad St. Parts are available for men, women and youth ages 15 or older. The musical will be performed Aug. 9-11 and 16-19 at the Kroc Center.
