Stats: 16, Lakeside High School junior

Bragging Rights: Since age 13, Jeffrey has been playing guitar, and today he acts as not only the lead vocalist in his band Alkaline Earth band but also the guitar and bass player. Duncan Crossan and Thomas Newton, also students at Lakeside, join Jeffrey in playing a variety of music but typically reggae and jazz. They perform many covers, and their current favorite is “Frankenstein” by Edgar Winter Group. The band plays various parties for their fellow students and performed in Arts in the Heart this year.

Jeffrey also participates in cross country and track at school and plays band for the Trinity-on-the-Hill United Methodist Church.

Hidden Talents: Jeffrey enjoys cultivating his green thumb by working in his vegetable garden which comprises okra, squash, black beans, peppers, and more. Quite the Renaissance man, Jeffrey also harbors aspirations for beekeeping in the near future.
