MUSIC TO YOUR EARS: A show featuring The Audition, Hit the Lights, Every Avenue, The Morning Light and Kiros will be held at Sector 7G, the all-ages venue at 631 Ellis St. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. and costs $14.

ON THE BIG SCREEN: DRILLBIT TAYLOR, the latest Owen Wilson comedy, opens. It's rated PG-13, and is about a group of high school friends who enlist the help of a homeless man (Mr. Wilson) for protection from bullies.


AT THE RACES: The Aiken Spring Steeplechase begins at 9:30 a.m. and the sixth and final race starts at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the gate. See
