School Choice: A Success?
Web-posted 07/07/09

One thing that has really,(I guess you can say) œbugged me, while I am in school is, to me, a critical flaw- I do not get to choose were I go to school. Private schools, for some, are a viable option, but the main block for many students is the cost which is and can be prohibitive (especially if you have multiple siblings).

Facebook Voyeurism
Web-posted 05/29/09
I was recently reading the business section of the Augusta Chronicle when I happened upon a sequence of stories dealing with the rising role (and business) of Facebook and, to a lesser extent, MySpace and other social networking sites. While I realize that certainly the media attempts to sensationalize things to an extremely large extent, I was awed and shocked by a story on a fairly mundane topic- people who were being shut out of their accounts because they had strange last names (such as Istanbul).
The "Politically Correct" Definition of Torture
Web-posted 05/29/09
People seem to misunderstand what torture is. Torture, as defined by dictionary.com, is to afflict with severe pain of body or mind. In layman's terms, the only way something could be torture is if there are literal physical scars and figurative emotional scars.

Everyone this year is scrambling for the best present for his or her teenage acquaintances. Friends of family but it doesn't matter you can always find someone who is just a little out of touch with the current gaming experience.
