Stephanie serves as classrooms editor for the Augusta Chronicle. She will help expand local education coverage, and direct a new education feature that helps parents understand how classrooms have changed and how they can help their children face daily education challenges. She also serves as Best and Brightest coordinator for the Chronicle's annual awards program for talented seniors, and will oversee the upcoming issues of Aspire. She has been with the newspaper since December 2007, and has served as general assignments reporter and South Carolina Bureau Chief during that time. Before working for the Chronicle, Stephanie served as a general assignments reporter for the Gaston Gazette in Gastonia, N.C.
