• Interests: I have served as a volunteer for the National Institue of Health's study called the Epidemology of Diabetes and Intervention since 1987. The research gained from this study has been called the greatest discover in the treatment of diabetes since the discovery of insulin. The Meldical University of South Carolina, Charleston, is the center where the study is conducted for me. There are other centers in the USA. Only a select fee were chosen to take part in this study.
• Activities: Writing, preaching, swimming, bike riding, walking.
• Books: Boundaries by Henry Cloud and John Townsend. Don Rhodes books on Ty Cobb (Safe at Home) and James Brown. Favorite Magazine: Georgia Backroads.
• Food: Country Fried Steak, mashed potatoes, salad, biscuits, and a side vegtable. But don't get that very often - not healthy!

Pastor and founder of North Columbia Church, (our church is non-aligned) Appling, GA, meeting in the beautiful Eubank Blanchard Community Center, on Hwy 150(6868 Cobb Ham Road.). Worship services 10am. Was ordained as a Southern Baptist pastor when I was 19. I've been in the ministry for 40 years mostly as a bi-vocational pastor. I hold a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and have done post-graduate work at ASU and Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, SC. I worked for 13 years in education as a teacher and administrator with two of those years in Christian schools. I have been published in several magazines and enjoy writing for the Faith Section of the Chronicle.
