About Me

Fetter serves as the Columbia County bureau chief for The Augusta Chronicle and news editor for The Columbia County News Times. In addition to his editing duties, he also leads both newspapers' coverage of government and education. He started his career as an entertainment reporter for a weekly tabloid in Augusta before coming to The News Times as a general assignment reporter in 2002. He then took a position as The Chronicle's education reporter in Columbia County before being chosen as the first editor for North Augusta Today. He returned to Columbia County, his home county, two years ago.
