Diamond Dogs rout Ole Miss

ATHENS, Ga. - Gordon Beckham, Lyle Allen, Matt Cerione and Michael Demperio each homered in Georgia's 14-hit attack as the Bulldogs beat Mississippi 11-4 on Sunday to win the weekend series 2-1 and retain the Southeastern Conference lead.

Nathan Moreau (2-2) allowed two runs on five hits in six innings to claim the victory for the Bulldogs (31-15-1, 17-6-1 SEC).

Tim Ferguson hit a home run, his second of the year, for the Rebels (31-19, 12-12) in the third inning.

Beckham's 22nd homer of the year, best in the NCAA, was a 3-run blow in the eighth.
