Boshears Skyfest

The 17th annual Boshears Skyfest was held the weekend of October 17, 2009. Skyfest weekends offer the CSRA a chance to see acrobatic flying, combat flying demonstrations, parachute teams, history displays and other aviation-related offerings at Daniel Field. Car shows and other events are also frequently included.

Originally known as the Boshears Memorial Fly-In, the Skyfest event was started in 1991 to honor Forrest and Buster Boshears, considered by many to be the pioneers of general aviation in the Augusta area.
