Master Corporal Sandra Rogers

AIKEN — Aiken DPS Master Corporal Sandra Rogers, a 27-year veteran of the force, was shot on the morning of Saturday, January 28, and later died at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

The suspect was identified as Joshua Tremaine Jones, 26. He was arrested on Youman Street in Batesburg, S.C., and is now in Aiken County custody, SLED spokeswoman Kathryn Richardson said.
