Westobou group appearing on 'So You Think You Can Dance' on Wednesday

A Los Angeles dance group slated to perform at the Westobou Festival in Augusta will appear on television Wednesday night.

The L.A. Dance Project will perform a special routine on a two-hour episode of So You Think You Can Dance.

It airs at 8 p.m. Wednesday on Fox 54 in Augusta.

The group was founded by dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied, known for his work in the movie Black Swan, which he choreographed and starred in. Millepied will appear as a guest judge during Wednesday’s episode of So You Think You Can Dance, which features performances from the show’s top 10 finalists.

The group performs live Oct. 6 at the Imperial Theatre, 749 Broad St. Advanced tickets are $75 and can be purchased at westoboufestival.com.
