FAVORITE CONCERT ATTENDED: Modest Mouse and the Hackensaw Boys, 40 Watt Club, Athens, Ga., 2004: "I remember it being packed out. It's just one of those surreal experiences to see somebody that you've listened to forever and ever and ever and never really actually thought that you would see them live."

FAVORITE PERFORMANCE: First show with Great Day in the Morning, Sky City, 2009: "I hadn't played in a band in probably about four years or so, and so it was just so exciting to be out there again."

FAVORITE MOVIES: Jesus Christ Superstar, The Big Lebowski and Office Space

WORST PERFORMANCE: The Kilpatrick Project, Metro A Coffeehouse, 2005: "We just butchered the whole thing. We kind of had a few too many beverages."

MUSICAL ROOTS: "I was 15 (when I started playing the guitar), and I think I originally wanted to do it just because it was one of those cool things to do. That was when I was in the alternative scene. That's probably what influenced me most musically."
