Sheryl Crow, Darius Rucker, Jennifer Nettles, Florida Georgia Line, Randy Houser and Uncle Kracker will play at James Brown Arena at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 19.
The lineup for the acoustic concert was announced Thursday morning. Tickets, costing $35, will be sold this Saturday only, beginning at 10 a.m., at the James Brown Arena box office, 601 Seventh St.
The performers have a host of accolades. Florida Georgia Line holds the No. 2 and No. 3 spots on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs for its singles Cruise and Round Here. Houser appears on the chart at No. 14 for his single How Country Feels, and Rucker’s song Wagon Wheel holds the No. 19 spot.
A nine-time Grammy Award winner, Crow’s single Easy has been climbing the charts, now at No. 26 on the Hot Country Songs list. Nettles won a 2008 Grammy for Best County Song for the single Stay performed by her duo Sugarland. She recently released her first solo song from an upcoming album.
In recent years, the Guitar Pull has been one of the hardest-to-get tickets of the year in Augusta. Tickets sell out quickly, and music fans turn out in droves for ticket raffles held at stores across the area leading up to the charity concert.
Last year, between 500 and 1,000 people entered each raffle for the concert featuring chart topper Luke Bryan, Little Big Town and more.
Tickets are limited to create an intimate, up-close show. Last year, about 4,000 fans got to see the stars on stage. A spokeswoman for Global Spectrum, the management company for James Brown Arena, would not release the number of tickets for November’s concert.
The Guitar Pull proceeds benefit the Million Pennies for Kids Campaign, an organization that works with the United Way. The concert contributes the largest, single donation locally to the United Way each year, according to a news release.
