“We’re very fortunate to have a group of loyal volunteers who have been with us for a while, but with such a busy season ahead of us, we need more people,” Charles Scavullo, the executive director at the Imperial Theatre, said in a press release announcing the volunteer opportunity.
No experience is necessary and training will be provided.
“All that’s really needed is a love of the arts,” Scavullo said. “It’s a great chance to get involved in the arts and our volunteers really love being able to see world-class shows for free.”
The season includes shows and performances ranging from the Westobou Festival’s L.A. Dance Project to Broadway plays and musicals presented by the Augusta Players and the Morris Museum of Art’s Southern Soul and Song series.
