The submissions are in for Amped: The Augusta Chronicle Music Contest and now it is time, dear readers, for you to get your vote on.

Beginning Monday, July 23, go to chronicle.augusta.com/amped to access the online ballot.

We’ll be selecting 12 acts from this initial group to move on to the semi-finals.

Six will be selected by popular vote and six will be critic’s picks. Initial voting ends Aug. 3.

Semi-final voting will take place Aug. 14-27 and six acts – three selected by popular vote and three critic’s picks, will go on to the finals at the Arts In the Heart of Augusta festival on Sept. 15.

So listen up, vote for your favorites and get Amped about this year’s contestants:
