FAVORITE REBELLIOUS SHOW: Suzie Wong, New York City, 2011. "We got invited by a representative from Jay-Z's record label, Roc Nation. We got an invitation up there to perform, so that in itself was memorable. The New York crowd showed us a lot of love. I mean, they had their hands up in the air rocking like they knew us."

FAVORITE ALBUMS: Outkast, ATLiens; Goodie Mob, Soul Food; 8Bal & MJG, In Our Lifetime; UGK, Ridin' Dirty; 2Pac, All Eyez On Me
MEMORABLE CONCERT ATTENDED: 2011, Big K.R.I.T., Wiz Khalifa, Currency in Charleston, S.C. "That was a real cool show."
SONGWRITING PROCESS: "I do a lot of production. I make a lot of the music. I also have a percussion team that sends me instrumentals. And we really just sit in the studio and just cipher through music. ... Whatever kind of day you had, whatever kind of mood you're in, whatever instrumental catches you, that's what you write to. Sometimes Shawt, he may write a chorus, and he records a chorus and maybe records his first verse, and I may come back three days later ... and hear the blueprint ...and I'll write something similar or I kind of write something along those lines, and then we go back together and we re-record everything, polish it up and make the final record. That's pretty much the writing process. And sometimes it hits you while you're driving, and you have to pull off on the side of the road and scribble it down on a piece of paper."
UPCOMING SHOW: Rebellious will perform Saturday at Sky City, 1157 Broad St. Doors open at 8 p.m. and music starts at 10:30.
