Edgefield Theatre presents 'Til Beth Do Us Part

Sam Crouch and Diane Raymo Day portray a troubled couple whose lives are turned upside-down by an overzealous assistant in "'Til Beth Do Us Part," which will be presented by Edgefield County Theatre Company.

 Edgefield County Theatre Company is presenting ’Til Beth Do Us Part, a comedy, at 8 p.m. Aug. 10-11, 17-18 and at 3 p.m. Aug. 12 and 19 at William Miller Bouknight Theatre, 405 Main St., Edgefield.

The play, which was written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten, playwrights from Asheville, N.C., centers on Gibby and Suzannah Hayden, a couple who find their marriage threatened after Suzannah hires an overzealous personal assistant named Beth.

'Til Beth Do Us Part stars Laurie Rhoden Prince, of Johnston, in the title role and Diane Raymo Day, of Aiken, as her boss, Suzannah.

Sam Crouch of Edgefield portrays Suzannah's beleaguered husband, Gibby. Jack McElwee and Lori Comshaw, both of Aiken, star as the couple's well-intentioned friends, and Debbie Troutman Fryer, of Edgefield County, is featured.
