Georgia musicians unite for Hephzibah Opry show

Some of Georgia's top bluegrass performers will play at 7 p.m. Saturday for the Hephzibah (Ga.) Opry, located in the brown building across from Hephzibah City Hall, U.S. Highway 88.

Uniting for the night will be guitarist Jim "Dawg" Iler, who sang on Patty Loveless' CD Sleepless Nights ; fiddle player David Blackmon of the Normaltown Flyers; banjo player Eddie Hoyle of The Hoyles and Avalanche; mandolin player Doug Flowers just off the road from the Little Roy and Lizzy Long Show; and bass player Dwayne Flowers.
