North Augusta hair salon burglarized

A North Augusta hair salon was burglarized between late Wednesday and early Thursday.

Someone broke into Great Clips and stole a deposit bag containing $520 and a broken safe.

According to a North Augusta Department of Public Safety incident report, the burglary occurred some time between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 7:20 a.m. Thursday at the business at 404 East Martintown Road. Someone threw a rock through a glass window and took the deposit bag and safe.

The safe was valued at $100. The destroyed window was valued at $400, the report states.
