An employee of the Bojangles restaurant at 3852 Washington Road was the victim of an armed robbery and carjacking while she was making a bank deposit for the restaurant Wednesday afternoon.

According to a Richmond County sheriff’s report, the robbery occurred about 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Bank of America at 2853 Washington Road.

The woman, 29, and a Lincolnton resident, told officers that after she had parked her vehicle in the bank parking lot, a man pulled open her driver’s side door and pointed a gun at her. The robber told the woman to get out of the vehicle and give him all of her money.

The woman told officers that she struggled with the robber, but that he forced his way into the vehicle and drove off with her purse and the restaurant’s bank deposit bags.

Officers later recovered the woman’s vehicle, abandoned and with the engine still running, in the roadway on the 2500 block of Center West Parkway in front of the Westgate Center Office Park.

The robber was described as a black man with in his 20s, about 6 feet tall, weighing about 160 pounds, wearing a green stocking hat and black coveralls.

The report states that he had light skin, a narrow face and a mark underneath one of his eyes.

I can't believe that a black man in his 20's would do such a thing....I'll bet the victim of the robbery is just a racist and making that claim and the real perp is a blond haired, blue eyed, Swedish American kid. After all, THEY are responsible for most of the crimes in the CSRA aren't they?

Was her purse recovered? If so, were her driver's license and credit cards still in her purse? If the answers to the previous questions were yes, then..................= inside job, and the employee is a co-conspirator and should be polygraphed to prove so.

It does sound hard to believe. Especially in broad daylight of a busy bank parking lot just off a busy main road and at Lunchtime. Just saying it sounds pretty fishy to me.
