GPS services, google maps,

GPS services, google maps, and mapquest still shows I520 ending at US 1 in North Augusta. It would be nice if they updated the maps to show that it has been completed linking back with I20 near US 25

Let's face it. Augusta is the Bermuda Triangle of the Southeast. It's where you stick the hose to give the earth an enema.

When I get lost in Augusta I

When I get lost in Augusta I just look for one of the multi-thousand dollar visitor bureau signs to tell me I am in Augusta. Wait a minute, we only put them up for Masters, don't we.

Garmin 2010 NA map doesn't

Garmin 2010 NA map doesn't show Augusta State at all! Most of the RC public schools aren't listed or mapped out in the wrong location in this version. Examples: Spirit Creek Middle School: wrong spot. Glenn Hills schools: Wrong, etc. All the newest construction spots naturally will be out of whack. Heph-McBean at 25 is wrong and that was completed a couple of years ago.

Update mine weekly Jack. And

Update mine weekly Jack. And Disss, They have the signs posted in locations like, Hwy 1 at the county line and 25 at the county line. When actually it isn't Augusta at all but the signs say "Welcome", you are there! Stupidity reigns supreme again.

I know where this idea came

I know where this idea came from. Heh. Hire Randall Travel Marketing at a cost of tens of thousands dollars like Columbia County did and they will tell you to put up more signs. Guys, GPS is only as good as the map. You get one free update when you buy a unit usually, plus you can pay and get an updated map downloaded anytime you want. It makes sense most wouldn't have the I-20--BJ intersection yet.
