A 20-year-old North Augusta man told police he was robbed at gunpoint while walking home from a grocery store Saturday night.

A North Augusta Department of Public Safety incident report says the man was walking through the Plaza Place Apartments at about 7:50 p.m. when he heard a noise behind him. When the man turned around, he saw a man wearing a black hoodie and a gray shirt over his face. The robber pointed a gray small-caliber revolver at the man and demanded his wallet and a ring. The man gave both items to the robber, and the robber ran away.

The man told police there was no money in the wallet.

Money dosen't matter anymore.

Money dosen't matter anymore. I think it is a national past time for punks. How many can I rob this week. Carry an equalizer with you and start you own game. How many punks can I hit in a week.
