  • Follow Latest News

An open house will be held by the Georgia Department of Transportation on January 7 to discuss the proposed widening of a portion of Wrightsboro Road.

Officials plan to widen and reconstruct the road from Jimmy Dyess Parkway to the Bobby Jones Expressway ramps near the Augusta Mall, according to a Department of Transportation press release. The meeting will be held at Sue Reynolds Elementary School at 3840 Wrightsboro Road between 5 and 7 p.m., the release said. It will include maps of the project and will allow the public to submit comments about the work.
