AIKEN - The Aiken Department of Public Safety is seeking the public's help finding a man who has passed several fake travelers checks at the Aiken Target on Whiskey Road, Sgt. Aaron Dowdy said.

The Aiken Department of Public Safety is seeking this man, who it says is suspected of passing fake travelers checks.

The suspect is believed to be driving a gray or silver, newer model Pontiac G6. Anyone with information on this person is asked to call (803) 642-7620 or Crimestoppers of the Midlands at (888) CRIME-SC. An anonymous tip line is also available at (803) 642-7799.

It's probably easier to get by with a fake travelers check since most people have never seen a real one, baron.
