People commit crimes. They go to prison for a certain length of time. That does not mean that they can be starved or malnourished. It has nothing to do with the ACLU, it has to do with the Constitution- "cruel and unusual punishment". That was specifically written so that the US wouldn't do what Great Britain had done with its prisoners- which was, lock them up and starve them.

These torturer-murderers should face a similar fate as their victims. They, too, should be tortured before execution. This would make other scumbags think twice before committing such heinous crimes.

If people knew by being convicted and sentenced to prison they'd get a steady, unvarying diet of pb&j it'd be more of a deterrent than the death penalty which allows a convict on the avg of 12 yrs IF it's ever carried out. I like the starvation idea but, unlike my suggestion, that'd be cruel and unusual punishment. Keep a convict behind bars, bury an ACLU lawyer.

No one condones these crimes, but what sets us apart from totaltarian regimes is controls on government...Have no personal experience with prison but can not imagine the loss of liberty...

It sghould never take 23 years to execute anyone. Sentence should be carried out immediately.

I believe in the death penalty. My only objection is, if there is not doubt in guilt, the execution should be carried out within 30 days of being found guilty-not 20 years later. Justice delayed in such a manner is not justice. Let them feel the sting of the death needle.

Concerning EBT cards. While at the local Crab King at Olive and Milledgeville Rds last week I was paying for my crab legs and shrimp with cash while all the locals around the store were paying with EBT cards. What am I doing wrong here****working? In my opinion that type of purchase should be off limits because of the price. EBT cards should be used for mor staple purchases for the family and kids.

A credible source? Didn't any of you take American History classes in high school? Didn't any of you take civics in high school? Didn't any of you learn about what England was like and why the Constitution was specifically written the way it was? Where do you think that amendment came from? How do you think it was done in England back in those days? Do you pay any attention to what the Supreme Court does, the cases that they rule on, and how they rule? And, go back and read my post.
