A committee of the Georgia Professional Standards Commission will meet Wednesday to make recommendations for two Fulton County educators and two from Atlanta Public Schools. The recommendations will go before the full commission Thursday.
The cheating allegations stem from a state audit released in June that showed answer sheets for a standardized math test were tampered with at four elementary schools the previous summer. In response, the commission has banned five educators from Georgia schools for a year and one principal for two years.
