Aiken County School Board members will elect officers tonight for the next year. Dr. Christine Harkins and Rosemary English have led the board as chair and co-chair, respectively, for the past two years.

Whomever is elected to the post of chairman will lead the board and district in drafting a capital facility plan, which could include bringing a bond referendum to vote next year.

District administrators will also present information on the benefits of dual-enrollment for students at Aiken Technical College at tonight's meeting.

The 7 p.m. meeting will be held at 1000 Brookhaven Drive in Aiken.
