AIKEN -- Three men were arrested early this morning in connection with Wednesday's fatal shooting of an Aiken man.
According to a news bulletin from the Aiken County Sheriff's Office, the three charged with murder, armed robbery, and conspiracy to possess marijuana, are:
* Derrick Valentine, 26, 400 block of Biscayne Road
* Kristopher Allard Reichardt, 25, of Middleton Drive, * Michael Gary Smith Jr., 22, 100 block of Green Acres Park Lane, Langley.
They are linked to the death of Donald Hickman, 24, of Aiken, who was found fatally wounded on Green Road about 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Multiple gunshot wounds normally are a homicide. And this was in another drug infested area.
What a sad, sad piece of news on the eve of Thanksgiving.
Isn't "fatally wounded" kinda like "a dead body"? "Get your journalism degree online with no money down!"
My condolences to the family no matter what the circumstances were or were not.
Fatally wounded is ok. I personally like "shot dead" which always makes me pause but is actually correct.
Murder for drugs. If not drugs, then something else. Kill crazzzzzy. People are filled with evil these days. Don't like what they said?? Shoot'em dead. Sick. What if it were your child?
"Kill crazzzzzy. People are filled with evil these days. " That, from the person who stockpiles weapons and ammunition. Wow.
Jerry Atrick, Have you considered the possibility that the victim wasnt dead but badly or "fatally" wounded and yes, still alive when he was found?
If he was fatally wounded when he was found, he wasn't alive.
What does it matter if someone stockpiles guns and ammo, ever heard of a collector? Doesn't mean everyone who has guns is a evil killer.
I'm glad they found these loser p.o.s's. They deserve the same sentence they gave their victim.
At least murderous potheads aren't racist and work together.
