A burglar stole a donation canister containing $40 by breaking into Firehouse Subs on Wrightsboro Road early this morning.

A deputy that arrived at the scene found the front glass doors broken and a rock lying on the floor of the business, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s report. Based on surveillance video, authorities said the suspect is described as being a black man in his mid-20’s to 30 years old. He is between five-feet eight inches and five-feet ten inches tall and weighs between 130 and 160 pounds, the report said.
