Free holiday dinner planned

A free Thanksgiving dinner will be offered to the community from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Olmstead Community Center.

The menu will include ham, turkey, chicken, collard greens, mashed potatoes, potato salad, corn, rice, yams, green beans, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, rolls and drinks.

The meal is being sponsored by Murphey Middle School’s PTA, FBLA and Student Council, in addition to many community organizations, churches and businesses.
