A man fired shots at a car and robbed a passenger in the vehicle late Friday night at the Circle K at 2915 Washington Road.
According to a Richmond County sheriffs report, two men were sitting in the car at the gas station about 10:40 p.m. when a man walked up, pointed a black revolver at them and demanded money. When the driver started the vehicle, the robber fired into the front passenger side of the car. The man took about $350 from the passenger and then walked behind the car. The driver started to drive away, and the robber fired a second shot into the right rear of the car.
Police were seeking the driver of a red Ford F-150 truck who was described as black, with braids, about 21 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants.
