I predicted all 4 of our region teams would win. So far, that's looking pretty good.
Mar-Quon Medlock accounted for four touchdowns to lead Richmond Academy to its first state playoff win in 39 years, 27-21 over visiting Glynn Academy on Friday.
Evan Dansby intercepted a pass on the goal line with 16.4 seconds left to seal the win.
Medlock ran for a touchdown in the first half, then tossed three scoring passes in a wild second half. The winning margin came on a 25-yard fourth-quarter pass to Jerrel Anderson.

Evans apparently lost in what was described as a miracle, plus Hephzibah lost. Lakeside and ARC will carry the region banner forward in the playoffs.
