Portion of Hardy-McManus Road closed Friday

A portion of Hardy McManus Road will be closed starting Friday morning.

The road will be impassable where it is intersected by railroad tracks while CSX Railroad perform track maintenance, according to a press release from the Columbia County Traffic Engineering Dept.

The closure starts at 8:30 a.m. Friday and will last until Tuesday afternoon.

To avoid the closure, motorists will need to use detours on Furys Ferry, North Belair and Washington roads.
