The initial findings of a second Augusta master plan will be reported tomorrow at Augusta Technical College.
The plan is the result of a four-month effort on the part of the community and the planning team. The meeting will be held in the auditorium of Building 600 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The first master plan, which involved the downtown area and North Augusta, was spearheaded by Augusta Tomorrow, and was unveiled nine months ago. The second plan will encompass all of Richmond County.
The core strategy will build on the citys best assets to develop new projects and programs to realize more fully: a green and sustainable Garden City; a place of education and innovation; and a vibrant place to live, work and play.
