BEECH ISLAND – The Aiken County coroner identified this evening the body of a man who has been missing for more than a week.

Gregory Brabham, 52, of Beech Island, was found floating in the Savannah River near the Kimberly Clark power station around noon, Coroner Tim Carlton said in a news release. Mr. Carlton said the man had been missing for between six and 10 days. Workers at the power station discovered the body earlier today.

The circumstances of his death appear to be suspicious, and an autopsy will be conducted Thursday morning in Newberry, he said. The results of that autopsy should be available by Thursday afternoon.

Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is investigating Mr. Brabham’s death.

How can you be missing for "between six and ten days"? If you are missing, it is for a fixed and firm number of days.

Estimation.....estimation.

Why spell "six" and enumerate "10"?

It's AP style to spell out numbers under 10 and use the numbers for over... and I don't know why I know that.

RoadKing

ksl ...did not know how to spell "tin".

Maybe you went to college (why you know AP style).
