Grovetown Veterans Day event moved inside

Grovetown’s Veterans Day ceremony scheduled for 10:15 a.m. Wednesday has been moved indoors because of threatening weather.

The ceremony will be held in the Liberty Park Community Center on Newmantown Road, instead of the grounds in front of the city’s Wall of Honor, said Dick Manion, one of the organizers of the event.

The ceremony will include participation from the Grovetown High School band and JROTC.

Refreshments will be available following the ceremony.
