Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Scott Peebles said Jonathan Cornelius Glenn, 28, was arrested this morning near his home on the 500 block of Dupont Street. Mr. Glenn is being held at the Richmond County Jail and has been charged with armed robbery, burglary, kidnapping and theft by taking motor vehicle.

Lt. Peebles said that Mr. Glenn made a payment to his parole officer immediately after the home invasion took place, and investigators believe he participated in the home invasion in an attempt to get money to make that payment.

Another man who investigators say participated in the home invasion, Ahijah Murray, 19, has already been arrested and charged in connection with the crime.

He should have to return the money to the 68 year old man, this does not make sense to rob anyone, but to do this to an elderly person is even sader. This old man did not cause him to be on probation, he needs to get a job and pay his darn fine.
