Prestige Appliance is opening its second location in Aiken, an outlet store in the Aiken Exchange shopping center at 2575 Whiskey Road.

The grand opening will begin Saturday. The Maytag Repairman character from television commercials will be at the store.

The store will also make a donation of a truckload of used appliances to Aiken County's Habitat for Humanity.

“It's exciting to celebrate our opening day and to share our good fortune with Habitat for Humanity,” says Doug Huffer of Prestige Appliance. The store will also collect money for the organization through a fill the dryer with money event.

The Prestige Appliance Outlet store offers Amana, Maytag, Electrolux, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, Bosch and other brands.
