The rosters for the North-South All-Star game, set for Dec. 12 in Myrtle Beach, S.C., have been released and several area South Carolina players made the list.

Defensive back Quantel Mack (Williston-Elko), linebacker Marcelis Thompson (Strom Thurmond) and offensive lineman Jonathan Williams (Strom Thurmond) made the North roster. Tailback Jeremy Robinson (Midland Valley), defensive lineman Demarcus Lawrence (Silver Bluff), linebacker Montel Hughes (North Augusta) and offensive lineman Charles Coleman (North Augusta) earned spots on the South roster.

Matt Hazel, a wide receiver from North Augusta, was the only area player last week chosen to represent South Carolina in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas, scheduled for Dec. 19 in Spartanburg.
