Authorities are investigating several weekend break-ins at a Hephzibah shopping center at 2763 Tobacco Road.

The burglar used a brick to smash the glass window at two stores and took a cash register and a large, flat-screen TV, according to Richmond County sheriff’s reports.

Two other businesses, Glovers Barber Shop and Hosanna Fish Market, reported front glass doors broken but nothing was stolen, the report said.

I wonder if the radar unit

I wonder if the radar unit normally parked about 500 feet further down the road was there? But then again we are more worried about speeders than we are about Burglary. Isn't it strange that this could happen on a busy road in direct view of the public? It must have taken a while to get the goods taken so I wonder where the officers were?
