Same story every year. It's not like flu season is a surprise each year. Why can't the CDC and the makers of the vaccine get ready in time for the season.

Nobody wants to make it

Nobody wants to make it because of the wackaloons- like the one who posts here- that are convinced that flu shots give them things like autism and Alzheimer's and then sue them. Only a very few factories make it anymore.

In the swine flu epidemic in

In the swine flu epidemic in the 70s more people died from the vaccine than from the flu and then you add in all the people who were neurologically impaired and we have a real problem. CDC flu statistics are based on models and not actual reported statistics. A hard look at the numbers shows a much lower incidence of flu deaths strictly related to the flu. Thankfully people are now taking a hard look at the connection between vaccines and autism and other neurological disorders. Call us loony if you will but as the evidence continues to pile you'll be eating those words. A person with a healthy immune system has less to fear from the flu than from the vaccine.

As the mother of a son who is on the autistic spectrum, yes, you are loony. And I knew there was something wrong before he got a single injection.

corgimom, you're missing the point. Not all cases of autism are directly linked to the flu vaccines, but to deny that there is no connection at all between the two is to ignore a mounting body of evidence.

Good point JM88. corgimom-

Good point JM88. corgimom- It's better to argue from facts than to name call. Do you have contrary evidence to prove there is no link? If so offer it up.
