Million-dollar lottery ticket sold in North Augusta

NORTH AUGUSTA -- A North Augusta gas station sold the winning $1 million lottery ticket, according to a statement issued today by the South Carolina Education Lottery.

Ye Old Grocery Store on Jefferson Davis Highway sold the ticket to a 27-year-old man from Aiken County. He asked that his name not be published.

The game, Cash Bonanza Bonus, is a $10 instant ticket. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
