The Augusta Half Marathon will begin at 7 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, in downtown Augusta. The following roads will be closed:
Broad St. the west bound lane from 9th St. to 5th St. will be closed from 5 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
8th St. - between Broad St. and Reynolds will be closed from 6:30 to 7:15 a.m.
Reynolds St. will be closed from 7th St. to 13th St. from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.
13th St/R.A. Dent the south bound lane of 13th St. will be closed from Reynolds St. to Laney Walker Blvd. from 7 a.m. to approximately 7:25 a.m. Access will opened after the final vehicle in the caravan turns right onto Laney-Walker Blvd.
Laney-Walker Blvd. the west bound lane of Laney-Walker Blvd. will be closed from RA Dent to Druid Park Ave from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 7:50 a.m.
Druid Park Ave. from Laney-Walker to Central Ave. will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7:50 a.m.
Central Ave. the right, west bound lane of Central Ave. from Druid Park Ave. to Highland Ave. will be closed from 7:10 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
Highland Ave. the north bound lane of Highland Ave. from Central Ave. to Walton Way will be closed from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Walton Way the right east bound lane of Walton Way will be closed from Highland Ave. to Milledge Rd. from 7:35 to 9 a.m.
Milledge Rd. the north bound lane of Milledge Rd. will be closed from Walton Way to Lake Shore Loop from 7:15 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Lake Shore Loop/Lakemont traffic will be routed clockwise around the lake from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Calhoun Expy. west - bound traffic will be limited to one lane and 30 mph from Greene St. to Washington Rd. The on-ramps at 15th Street and Eve St. will be closed from 7:00 to 10:30 a.m. Exit ramps in the west-bound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
Greene St. west bound traffic will be limited to one lane and 30 mph speed limit from Calhoun Expy. to 6th St.
6th St. the south bound lane of 6th St. will be closed from Greene St. to Broad St. from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Broad St. the west bound lane of Broad St. will be closed from 6th St. to 9th St. from 5:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
