NORTH AUGUSTA -- A North Augusta man was robbed at gunpoint while he was at a party this morning.
The 55-year-old victim told police he was at a party with a friend when he was invited to a different house on the 600 block of Crestlyn Drive, according to an incident report. He said other people at the party were smoking crack and drinking, but he was only drinking.
When he and his friend was ready to leave at about 1 a.m., a black man approached the vehicle, brandished a handgun and told him to get out, the report said.
The man complied, and the robber took his wallet from his pants pocket. The victim said another black man took $200 from the his friend, but the friend chose not to file a report, according to the incident report.
